The objective of this paper was to: (1) to create a visual representation of the construct of the examination that is easy to understand for physicians who may not have the appropriate psychometric and measurement background necessary to fully grasp an abstract concept such as an exam construct, and (2) to illustrate the method used to create the visual representation so that others may utilize this resource for their own exams.
